Robert J. Lynch, Certified Public Accountant, a partner in the firm, is a 1987 graduate of Bryant College with a BSBA degree. Mr. Lynch has been associated with the firm since 1988 and has been responsible for services to clients in auditing, financial management, administrative operating procedures, accounting, and taxation with a specialization in government and non-profit organizations.

Rob’s municipal and non-profit experience spans nearly twenty years and includes providing a diverse array of services to dozens of municipalities and non-profit organizations throughout Massachusetts. This experience includes the traditional accounting and auditing services as well as numerous financial, departmental and process reviews and studies, working with clients to resolve and clear audit findings and implement recommendations, and consulting on municipal and non-profit finance issues.

In addition to his background in municipal and non-profit accounting and finance, Rob has significant experience in providing our tax, business and high net worth clients with tax preparation and tax planning services. His experience includes a wide-range of clients throughout numerous industries and throughout southeastern, Massachusetts. As a Personal Financial Specialist and licensed securities representative, Rob utilizes this experience and perspective to ensure complete and thorough tax planning is provided to our clients.

Rob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Government Finance Officers Association.

Anthony A. Marini, CPA is the founder of A.A. Marini, PC formed in 1991 and merged with the firm of Malloy, Lynch Bienvenue, LLP in 2012, forming the new firm of Lynch Marini & Associates Inc.

Mr. Marini graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1976 and spent over seven years at the firm of Coopers & Lybrand, achieving the level of Audit Manager. While with Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Marini served small and large corporations in the Utilities, Health Care, Retail, Small Business and Non Profit industries.

Subsequent to his service with Coopers & Lybrand, Mr. Marini worked as a Senior Vice President of Accounting for the Krupp Companies, with related service of 7 years. During that time Krupp Companies grew from 15,000 residential units to over 60,000 residential units and 3,000,000 square feet of commercial space. Marini also served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Boston Capital Partners.

With the founding of A.A. Marini, PC in 1991, and subsequent merger into Lynch Marini & Associates Inc, Marini has been providing consulting, audit, and tax services to small and mid-sized business, non profits and high net worth clients, including extended consulting engagements in the real estate, clinical trials and benefits administration areas. Mr. Marini has worked directly with owners and high-level managers of business’ large and small, from both the public accounting and industry side, not only during times of growth, but also during times of contraction – providing him with a unique perspective.

Mr. Marini is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Grady M. Connor, CPA is a 1991 graduate of Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration – Accounting. Mr. Connor also received a Masters in Science of Taxation from Bentley College in 1993. Mr. Connor has been associated with the firm since 1998 and has been responsible for completing a wide-range of municipal engagements from internal control reviews, departmental efficiency reviews, compliance and internal control testing, agreed upon procedures, planning and completing governmental audits including preparation of governmental financial statements, developing and preparing management letter comments and implementing GASB and FASB pronouncements.

Grady has substantial municipal auditing experience and is responsible for completing numerous audit, agreed upon procedure and special engagements annually; for supervising staff personnel and in implementing technical changes in our municipal audit engagements.

Prior to joining the firm Grady was a financial officer for a private vocational school for three years where he was responsible for corporate accounting and for supervising federal financial assistance programs for students.

Grady is a member of Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Association of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) , including Forensic and Valuation section, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and ACFE- Greater Boston Chapter.
